The website www.augusteims.com (hereinafter referred to as “the Site”) is published by Auguste IMS, a company or association without legal personality, registered under company number 0797.544.589, with its registered office at Chaussée Maieur Habils 123, Box B, 1430 Rebecq, Belgium.

 

By accessing and using the Site, any visitor or user fully and unconditionally accepts these Terms of Use.

  • parcel tracking area,
  • and any digital services offered by Auguste IMS through the Site.

The Site is freely accessible to any visitor with an Internet connection. Some areas (such as the admin back office) are restricted to the Auguste IMS team. Users are solely responsible for ensuring their equipment and software (Internet connection, operating system, updated browser, antivirus, etc.) are compatible with the Site.

Users agree to use the Site in accordance with applicable laws and these Terms of Use.

The following actions are strictly prohibited:

  • any illegal, fraudulent, or disruptive use,
  • attempts to inject viruses, trojans, or malicious code,
  • any action aimed at disrupting or damaging the Site,
  • any large-scale extraction or reuse of the Site’s content, data, or databases,
  • unauthorized attempts to access the back office or Auguste IMS IT systems.

When using a form on the Site (contact, shipping, moving, etc.), the user agrees to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information. The user is solely responsible for the content they submit.

5.1 Responsibility of Auguste IMS

Prohibited and Restricted Goods – Auguste IMS

The following items are strictly prohibited from shipment via Auguste IMS, unless otherwise stated with specific prior authorization and official documentation.

1. Food and Agricultural Products
  • Fresh or perishable products not compliant with EU sanitary regulations.
  • Meat, fish, dairy products, and products of animal origin (e.g., honey) without valid Sanitary Certificate and Phytosanitary Certificate issued by competent authorities.
  • Plants, seeds, soil, and plant-based products without a Phytosanitary Certificate.
  • Non-processed meat or fish.
  • Certain fruits, vegetables, and dairy products originating from third countries without proper veterinary certificates.
  • Large quantities of foodstuffs without import licenses.
2. Medicines and Health Products
  • Medicines without a valid prescription, where legally required.
  • Non-authorized or non-licensed medicines (not approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) or equivalent body).
  • Counterfeit, falsified, or unregistered medical products.
  • Non-CE compliant health products, cosmetics, and perfumes.
3. Dangerous and Hazardous Materials
  • Explosives, fireworks, ammunition, flares, or related items.
  • Gas cylinders, propane tanks, and compressed gas containers.
  • Flammable or toxic liquids and solids (paints, solvents, chemicals, fuels, adhesives, etc.).
  • Substances containing banned materials (e.g., lead, mercury, asbestos, radioactive elements).
  • Hazardous waste, industrial waste, used batteries, and chemical residues.
  • Corrosive, oxidizing, or infectious substances as defined by ADR/IATA transport regulations.
4. Counterfeit and Intellectual Property Violations
  • Counterfeit branded goods (clothing, accessories, electronics, cosmetics, etc.).
  • Pirated or non-CE compliant electronic devices.
5. Money, Valuables, and Financial Instruments
  • Cash exceeding €10,000 (or equivalent in foreign currency) unless declared to customs with an official declaration form.
  • Precious metals (gold, silver, platinum) and precious stones, unless accompanied by a valid invoice and prior approval.
  • Negotiable instruments such as bearer bonds, checks, and securities, unless specifically authorized.
6. Weapons, Military Equipment, and Explosives
  • Firearms, ammunition, explosives, and war materials without specific government authorization.
  • Replica or deactivated firearms, unless accompanied by required certification.
  • Military-grade equipment subject to export restrictions.
7. Drugs and Illegal Substances
  • Narcotics, drugs, psychotropic substances, and derivatives, regardless of form.
  • Precursors used in the manufacture of narcotics.
8. Environmental and Protected Species
  • Products from protected animal or plant species, in accordance with the CITES Convention.
  • Items made from ivory, tortoise shell, exotic skins, or similar.
  • Endangered species (fauna and flora) and their derivatives.
9. High-Value Shipments
  • Shipments with a declared value exceeding €25,000 without a valid purchase invoice and prior written approval from Auguste IMS.
10. Restricted Items (Require Prior Authorization)
The following items may be shipped only with prior written authorization and relevant permits:
  • Alcohol and tobacco products (subject to duty and excise licenses).
  • Certain electronic equipment (subject to CE and EU compliance standards).
  • Large shipments of food or beverages (subject to import/export licenses).
11. Motorized Vehicles and Engines
  • Vehicles, motorcycles, quads, and similar motorized equipment must be completely emptied of fuel before shipment.
  • The shipper must sign a declaration confirming:
    1. The fuel tank is empty.
    2. No personal belongings are stored inside the vehicle.
    3. The shipper is the legal owner of the vehicle or has written authorization from the owner (power of attorney).
  • Required documents: Vehicle registration certificate (carte grise), owner’s ID, and where applicable, authorization from the legal owner.

  • The customer remains solely responsible for the content of their shipment and the accuracy of the information provided.
  • Auguste IMS reserves the right to refuse, detain, destroy, or hand over to customs any shipment containing prohibited or improperly declared items, without liability for delay, loss, or damages.
  • By validating a shipment, the customer acknowledges having read and accepted this list and guarantees compliance with all applicable customs, transport, and safety regulations.
